Fipps is one of Master Scourge’s cronies. He was with Master Scourge when the party first woke up, and he and a group of pirates tried to start trouble with the party on the second day on the Wormwood.

Number Six tried to earn his trust with food and drink, but Fipps proved to be tougher to get through than others. He has a past he doesn’t like talking about, and seems to have a sensitive side, which shone through when he listened to Conchobhar Turlach Shortstone singing.

Fipps was tricked into a fight with Owlbear Hartshorn and humiliated in front of the crew. Ostracized by those he once depended on, he sought the PCs for protection, but was betrayed when Number Six planted evidence upon him incriminating him of sneaking into the Officers Quarters. The Officers are hesitant to believe that Chumlett was responsible, but he hasn’t been entirely ruled out quite yet.

With repeated attempts to be nice to him, the party was able to win Chumlett over to their side.

When Captain Bell assigned the new roles, he was given the job of Cook’s Assistant.
